Before I went on hiatus I made a post on a game that I am working on with another game development group now called Escape Industries. That game was called Fingeance. It was a party game that you played on your phone where your goal was to mess with the other players who were battling undersea fish.
Boy has that changed.
Fingeance has changed a dramatic amount. It no longer is a mobile/phone game. It no longer is strictly “competitive” gameplay. It no longer is top down perspective.
Fingeance has become a multiplayer 2D side scrolling shoot em’ up. Our original fish now has 3 other fish tagging along with him in his quest for vengeance. All of the art has been update (looking at the old art still makes me cringe a little…). You battle your way through a multitude of enemies with your customized ships (that you choose yourself, unlike last time).
So yeah… I lot has changed, it is amazing how much so. With all of that said, I am still not going to be updating much on Fingeance here. But this time there is somewhere you can go! Escape Industries now has a website where you can follow all of the latest news and blog posts including myself! Yes, you heard right, I am going to be posting every Wednesday. My posts will be art/music centric, but if you interested in the other aspects of development then make sure to check out Monday and Friday’s posts for even more content!
A large majority of my time away has been on Fingeance and with Escape Industries so please check out the website and let us know what you think of what we have to show so far. We have a lot planned so stay tuned! Be sure to check back here tomorrow for more updates on all that happened over the last few months.
Like the art style of Fingeance? What to learn more about game itself? Leave a comment below and tell me what you think!
